National Foster Care

Innovation Challenge Winners Showcase

Celebrating bold ideas to strengthen families and reimagine foster care

May 17, 2026 | Napa , CA

Thank you for joining us to celebrate the winners of the National Foster Care Innovation Challenge! We left the evening encouraged by the innovative and impactful work demonstrated by each of the pitches. We were inspired by Pat Gelsinger's remarks to "take the latest technologies and use them for good ... [making] the heart of God visible in code, in organizations, in communities".  And, we were excited for The Table Project and Connections Home to win the audience choice awards.

The evening would not have been the same without you there.  Thank you for joining us on this mission.  We'd love to have you join us in community as we continue building Flourish: Children & Families.

Here is a digital version of the booklet you received at the Winners Showcase, for your reference.

About the Challenge

The National Foster Care Innovation Challenge was created to surface and accelerate promising solutions that help communities better support vulnerable children and families.

Co-hosted by Flourish Fund and Eagle Venture Fund, with support from Google.org, the Aviv Foundation, and Mike and Kirsten Winters, the Challenge invited innovators across the country to imagine new ways to prevent family separation, support foster and kinship families, and help youth thrive.

Thank you to each of the applicants who applied, to our judges who shared the time and expertise, to Eagle Venture Fund for their partnership, and to Google.org for their support.
